One of the best natural sweeteners is honey. It's important to know the source of the honey and to choose RAW, ORGANIC honey, otherwise you lose the health benefits and you may as well just use sugar. The best type of honey is Manuka. 

You can usually see the difference in the bottles because raw honey tends to crystalize in the jar. Raw, natural honey contains many healing properties and is a natural antibiotic. So the next time you feel a cold or sore throat coming on, a spoonful can help to keep sickness away.

I LOVE honey and use it every day in my tea. It's also a great substitute for jelly with natural peanut or almond butter.
