If you have metal fillings in your mouth, you'll want to read this!

Bless my parents. They did the best they could with what they knew and I love them very much and am very grateful for the way I turned out. That said, one of the worst things my parents did to me was allow amalgam dental fillings to be placed in my mouth. So many people were guided to agree to these health-harming fillings, which have been linked to diseases affecting billions of people. If you or someone you love have metal fillings you will definitely want to read this!

Amalgam is an alloy of mercury with various metals used for dental fillings. It commonly consists of mercury (50%), silver (~22-32% ), tin (~14%), copper (~8%), and other trace metals.

As a medical student I learned mercury is toxic to the body, especially to the nervous system. It was discovered that mercury has an adverse affect on the human body via anecdotes of craftsmen becoming fatally ill. These craftsmen, including painters and watchmakers, used paints and materials full of mercury. After constantly licking the tip of the paintbrush to create a pointed end, they became mentally unstable, with mechanical dysfunctions, and then eventually died. Hmmm.

So why does the Center for Disease Control report that amalgam is ok to use to fill dental caries in the mouth when 50% of this substance is mercury? If you ask me, this sounds a lot like the story I mentioned above—mercury in the mouth equals poison!

There has been a movement to replace these fillings with biologically safe alternative, such as composite fillings and other biologically safe materials, because stimulation from eating, grinding your teeth, brushing your teeth and chewing gum, cause the mercury particles to be released. Part of the mercury is released as a gaseous substance so you can’t even see it! The particles then enter the body and cross the blood brain barrier into the brain.

Any buildup of foreign heavy metals in the body is a perfect breeding ground for disease to flourish. Various chelation cleanses exist to rid the body of heavy metals because heavy metals are harmful to our health and result in toxicity.

Northern European countries, such as Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, have already banned the use of amalgam fillings, and many other countries are beginning to increase awareness about this public health issue. The Health Care Research Collaborative has recommended the phase out of any further use of amalgam.  The World Health Organization is also opposed to amalgam fillings.

If you have any silver bling in your mouth, I highly recommend you remove this hazard from your body. Amalgam fillings have been linked to diseases including chronic fatigue, hormone imbalances, Alzheimer’s disease, autoimmune diseases like Lupus and Multiple Sclerosis, kidney damage, arthritis, Parkinson’s, Leukemia, and more. Who knows what other diseases and health, both physical and mental, issues are linked to this neurotoxin as it can affect so many parts of our system.

Practically every single one of my natural molars was replaced with amalgam fillings as a child—yes, I loved candy and sugary cereals and the dentist told my mother I had abnormally acidic saliva. Unfortunately, it was too expensive for my parents to pay for the “white” fillings, but for all they knew it was simply a cosmetic difference.

Throughout the past few years as I’ve cleaned up my diet and began a daily practice committed to health, I’ve noticed some odd happenings with these amalgam fillings. There have been times when I would taste metal in my mouth. Also during meditations, I would feel as if my teeth were being pried apart, as if there were magnets between my teeth and my mouth would spontaneously open. Intuitively, I’ve known for years that I must have them replaced, and what was stopping me was the expense of the process.

As the universe would have it, I was recently referred to a biodentist in Mexico. Their prices are less than a third of U.S. dentists, many of which have not been trained as biodentists with the proper protocol.

It is very important to work with a dentist who uses the Huggins Protocol when removing the mercury. The procedure includes using a barrier in the mouth during extraction to prevent any swallowing of the metal particles, a negative ionizer with a cold spray in your mouth throughout the removal process to absorb any mercury gases released, and all the while receiving IV vitamin C, which acts as a chelator and immune booster.

I highly recommend the removal of your amalgam fillings with these biodentists down in Tijuana, Mexico just over the San Diego border. I was a warrior and did my entire mouth in two days!
