Earth Angels - Those who help you on your life path 💗

Part of what helps us succeed in life is the love of others. Having others believe in you and be a light and guide during challenging times.

Of course, we can succeed on our own, but for every new level I’ve risen to, it was because I had love, support and was believed in by another that it happened with much more ease and grace.

I've been told by clients and students that I've been an earth angel to them so I've been feeling it’s important for me to honor mine up until now.

I hope you enjoy these short inspirational stories.

Remember there are Earth Angels all around you, ready to help, but first you must be willing to receive support.

Or perhaps these stories will inspire you to be someone’s Earth Angel.

Unconditional Love: My Mom

She has always boosted our confidence, reminding my sisters and I how beautiful and smart we are. Her affection and openness was always so supportive. I can always share everything with her. She has a way of being neutral and celebratory of my achievements, so that everything I did, I did for myself. She showed up for all the events and happenings in my life. Even through the many changes in my life and choosing the very unconventional life which I know has challenged my family, she still loves me unconditionally through it all. I've always felt free to be myself with her. I chose the perfect mother I needed to become the woman I am today. 

The Provider: My Stepdad 

Though not my biological father, he is really my dad who took us in as his own daughters when I was 7. I remember when he would quiz me on my spelling. He even has our names tattooed on his wrist. He did whatever it took, including working multiple jobs, to provide a good life for us. I am so grateful he came into our lives. I hold a high standard for men because of him. He is still a very present, solid man in my life and an ideal male role model who puts relationships and family first.

Unexpected Support: Kieran 

We met as friends on one of my Australia trips when I was in medical school and then, whenever I was in Australia or he in NY, we would hang out. Then, when I was traveling around Europe after my intern year as an MD in the hospital, I was messaging with him and sharing my plans. I happened to mention I was thinking about doing yoga teacher training, but wasn't sure it made sense to because I didn’t yet know I would be leaving western medicine. He very much believed I should do the yoga training and he was in such support of it that he offered to spot me the money to do so! This was the decision that would forever change my life. This was the moment I transitioned from being a western MD to holistic healer and personal development coach.

A shoulder to lean on: Liz 

About a year after I left western medicine, I was struggling with where to live. NY or LA? I wasn’t making very much money then and was charging very little for my services. I was amidst my spiritual awakening and figuring out who I was. I met Liz when we were cocktail waitressing in NYC while I was in med school. She always had a huge heart and let me live with her in Williamsburg while I was figuring things out. Her compassion and generosity always stays with me.

Tough Love: Master Z 

One of my spiritual mentors/teachers/healers once hit me in the forehead when I told her I was lacking inspiration. “Well get inspired!!!” she yelled in Chinese. She also yelled at me to get a home when I was a nomad traveling around the world. I needed her tough love. It took me a few years to listen to her, but in the end she was right. The moment I got my own home in Malibu, my purpose and business took off to a new level. She also inspired me to own the tough love I express to clients when it’s needed. It worked on me when I needed it, and my clients share their appreciation for it when I offer it to them too.

The person who helps you see your beauty: Philip Alan
My social media and web presence has enhanced because this man knows how to capture my essence on camera. He found me when I was on the FOX reality show Utopia and gifted me a photoshoot in nature that forever changed how I express myself in writing. Since then, we’ve done 5 shoots together and every time we’re in awe of what our chemistry co-creates. It’s like his camera opens a door where I allow myself to be seen. We’ve become friends over the years and he knows exactly when I’m ready for a new shoot so that I can be inspired to post again (like over quarantine when I was on sabbatical). His photos help me fulfill my mission with the world because through each snapshot I have a medium to express my heart and words to you.

My spiritual godmother: Gazzella

The soul connection with this woman. It’s even ritualized. I met her in Italy in Damanhur. She has always seen me and knows my mission because we share the same one. She even wrote a book for me before she met me. We share the same reason for living. So many tears of soul remembrance I’ve cried with this woman. Her energy healing sessions have provided me solace in moments of challenge. This relationship reminds me that even though I’m different, I’m not alone, there are others like me.

Someone to believe in you: Jay

He was one of the first clients I ever had. I worked with him for years and eventually we became friends because this is what happens when you connect with people deeply during their healing and transformational journey. He always believed in my work because of what a positive impact it had on his life. Then, when I needed a co-signer for my first Malibu house, I had to swallow my pride and ask several people. He was the only one who agreed to do it. He believed in me when others didn’t. Then he even encouraged me to apply for my current Malibu beach house, which was almost triple the price without a co-signer. So I did and was easily approved! All I needed was someone to believe in me.

Spiritual Guide: Peter

He is one of the only people who could make me hysterically cry and laugh at the same time. He has helped me to believe in synchronicity and the power of my manifestations even more. His humor. Thank god for his humor. His belief in who I am at a soul level has helped me move through some really challenging moments. Especially moments of impatience. He helped me reconnect to the power of the goddess and feminine within me even more, reminding me of who I am and why I am here. The work we’ve done together is a testament to the fact that you don’t need psychedelics, your breath alone can get you there.

A guide to return to me: Dee

She was one of the healers who helped put me back together after several emotionally traumatic experiences back to back over the last year. At the soul level, she has seen me, reminded me of who I am, the new kind of human I am, and the importance of my unique gifts I am here to share with the world. She helped re-direct me back on track and back on my path.

Someone to hold your hair while you purge: Rachel 

Another healer coach extraordinaire who has helped me release so much crap that has not served me over the years. She has helped bring me back to myself when I have been challenged. Being a support when I’ve been overdoing it and overworking. Helping me to transform my beliefs and fears (even ones I have been holding onto for hundreds of years!!) that were not serving my ascension process.

What I’ve realized over the years is that having support has been the most important and impactful thing in my life. Whether it was family, friends or a healer/coach/guide I paid for support–it was absolutely ESSENTIAL. I didn’t have to suffer as long because there was someone to hold space with me. 

I friggin' love healing and personal development work so much. As well as the kind, loving, generous souls I’ve been blessed to come across in this life. There are even more people than the ones I shared today and I appreciate each and every one of them. 

With deep gratitude for these Earth Angels who have inspired my life and work in far greater ways than I could have ever done alone, I pay all of this forward through my work and the lives I touch everyday. May you be inspired to do the same.
