The truth about Love

Hello Beloveds, 

Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. I love this day because it is a day to celebrate LOVE! You all know how much I love love… after all they named me #DrLove when I was on the FOX reality show Utopia for this reason. 

I know this day can be triggering and challenging for people who do not have a thriving romantic relationship or a partner. So what you can do instead is to love yourself as you desire a lover to love you. This is what self love is about and this is also how you attract more love into your life.

I want to remind you that you don’t need someone outside of you to feel love. YOU ARE LOVE. Within you lives the mystery of the Universe that is love. Within your heart lives this infinite source of love. You come from love and you are here to live as love. 

Indeed there may be people and things that ignite this love within you, but they are simply acting as mirrors to remind you of the love that you already are. 

Other things that inspire love within you can be art like poetry or music, as well as Nature like the beautiful sunset, and even a baby. Love is everywhere and everything if you so choose to see it. 

So whatever your love language is, do that for yourself! Give yourself a massage, make yourself a delicious meal, write yourself a love letter or whatever other act of love that will open your heart! Do this even if you already have a partner to enhance the love you receive in your life. 

People love you as much as you are available to love yourself. The more you love yourself the more love you can receive.
