COVID-19: Positive Insights & Healthy Tips

Dear friends, 

As the world enters into a quarantine period, we are being asked to reevaluate our lives. This is truly an OPPORTUNITY! I hope you see that. In this blog, I share some tips to stay healthy and safe and also some insight I’ve received regarding this worldwide situation. 

Beware, you may not agree with what my intuitions and opinions are but I am going to share them anyway. If you don’t like what I have to say then just scroll down to my top 10 favorite tips, those will support you either way :)

I personally believe that this virus was accidentally leaked because of poor quality control from the level 4 infection disease lab in Wuhan, which is near the infamous fish market. When labs study viruses, they can mutate and take on all kinds of “man-mind” qualities because of the poking, prodding and artificial conditions. There are many reasons to study infectious diseases AND it is important to know the risk. One terrible reason being biological warfare. 

I do NOT think this is an act of biological warfare but we are getting a taste of what it would be like if it were to ever happen. We see how contagious and disruptive it can be to our lives. So, THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS… Let’s spend time raising our consciousness because if you raise your consciousness you would never even consider doing/condoning/voting/participating in something horrific like that because you feel your connection to all that is including other humans (they are your friends). Let’s instead do our part to create heaven on Earth where all of humanity loves each other and lives in harmony. 

Another thing this situation is having us examine is your relationship to fear. Are you fearful of the situation and part of the group of people hoarding all the toilet paper in your home? If you are, I still love and accept you. And I HIGHLY recommend you start meditating and connecting to your heart space and love. Sounds cheesy, yes I know, and love is a protective force and makes us feel peace and calm. How do you get there? Spiritual practices, time in nature, connecting with people you love, reading uplifting books and choosing content that promotes feelings of connection, inspiration and love NOT fear. 

One HUGE gift of this time is everyone is basically getting a free retreat, the only issue is you need to create it yourself. So, please shut off the television and put your mobile devices down and do something that is enjoyable and good for your heart, spirituality, and consciousness. This is also a time to be productive OR relax. If you’ve been working your booty off and feel burnt out then rest. If you’ve been waiting for that time to start that project you’ve been inspired to start now is your chance. Write that book you’ve been meaning to write. Read that book you’ve been wanting to read. Learn that craft. Do arts and crafts. Use this time for your good! What will you choose to use this time for to enhance your being?

What I am most excited about for this time is how we as a society will look at our structures and what we believe is really “necessary” during this time. The stock market situation has us looking at money differently, maybe better to have real estate and gold rather than numbers that go up and down on a screen. Even work ethic and how things/events/gatherings are being done remotely versus in person. What are you seeing differently in the world/life in a positive way thanks to this situation?

The last insight I’ll share is to notice what your thoughts go to when you feel the imminence of death. Who are you wanting to quarantine yourself with? How are you feeling you want to create change in the world? Or be a part of solutions? Or what inspirations pop into your awareness. Focus on the positive my friends, remember what we focus on expands so now is your opportunity to create in this void that has been created for us during this time.

Healthy tips to keep in mind (some are super obvious, I saved those for later)

  1. If you feel sick or low energy AT ALL choose to quarantine yourself. Be responsible and listen to your body. Be responsible and don’t risk spreading anything to anyone.

  2. Meditate and choose love instead of fear. Why? Because it is good for your immune system by lowering cortisol which is the stress hormone that is connected to disease and weakens your immune system.

  3. Cuddle and connect with those you love, who you can trust are NOT high risk (high risk is aka those who seem sick, fatigued with aches and pains, have traveled). Oxytocin also boosts the immune system.

  4. Eat super healthy and sleep well during this time to boost your immunity.

  5. Take your immune-boosting supplements and hydrate with good quality spring water!

  6. Be hygienic. Take your shoes and clothes off when you arrive home from a public place so you don’t contaminate your home. Take a shower and then put on clean clothes. Definitely don’t put outside clothes in your bed.

  7. Wash hands more frequently than you think and don’t rub your eyes, pick your nose or eat with your hands. 

  8. Be clean. Consider hand sanitizer over soap for cleaning hands for better germ cleansing. Lysol and clean surfaces more than you normally would.

  9. Shut off the television and do something fun/productive/healing to get you out of the fear vibrations the news is putting out and choose the love vibration.

  10. Be a positive force for others during this time by seeing the benefit and using this time to your benefit!
